I reached home and lay down the bed. I was tired just wanted to sleep a little don't want to think about tomorrow anymore. Whatever happens still he will remain my best friend right?

Even though I can't be his lover at least we will be friends. I closed my eyes and was about to drift deep into dreamland.

Beep.... Beep....

Let's hangout tonight in the backyard.

I'm tired Tae. May be tomorrow.

But Kookie.... I'm nervous I need my bunny with me.

Come on down please. I will bring your favorite sandwich.

I got my jacket and went to our backyard. Our family has been friends like forever. We had different backyard but when Tae and I became best friends and wanted to have big backyard for ourselves both of our parents agreed and combined our backyard to make a big space for us with a small 2 story cottage to play. We spend almost everyday in the cottage.

I went to our backyard just to see little white tiger lying on the grass staring the sky. I went near him and laid down beside him. A peaceful silence was around the area. Nobody spoke a word but one can feel the warmth of each other through this silence. But the peace was soon shattered by some alien invention.

"I'm really nervous Kookie..... She will accept me right? " A sharp pang was felt in my chest. Just bare it Jungkook , it will be okay.

" Don't worry Tae. Anybody will love to date you..... She will definitely say yes. "

"I hope so Kookie. I so wanna have a girlfriend. " He said with a wide boxy smile. " I'm so excited for tomorrow "

My eyes started filling with tears with each of his words. But I guess god doesn't want Tae to find my tears. Few drops fell from the heaven and shimmered over us. It suddenly started to rain fast. And Tae got up and started to run for the cottage. I was still sleeping right there in my spot. Tae reached inside the cottage and turn back to see me still laying on the ground.

"Kookie.... What are you doing?.... Come here fast..... " Tears started to flow furiously. I closed my eyes and tried to calm down. Suddenly I felt something covering water from my face. I opened my eyes only to see Tae standing above my face covering himself with his jacket.

" Do you wanna be sick dumbo ? " He pulled me up. "Come on let's go. "

He caught my hand and both of us rushed to the cottage. I settled down the couch near the window and starred out the window. When suddenly a pair of hands rubbed my hair. I looked back only to find Tae drying my hair with a towel. His soft hands rubbing my hair feels like heaven.

"Yaa... Jungkookie.... What were you thinking sleeping there. You could be sick you know. "

" I was just enjoying the rain Tae . "

" Let's go up change the clothes. We will catch cold if you we stay like this.

" He caught my hand again and went upstairs dragging me along.

We reached the shared room upstairs where we used to spend most of our days. We are used to hang out here. For our parties, studies, slumbers and so on. Let's say most of our lives was spend here with each other. We wore the pajama we left there the last time we stayed here and laid down the bed.

It was late and we decided to spend the night in the cottage. It's raining outside and it's probably the best for us to stay together because Tae can't stand thunders and always wants to cuddle during rains. He started to changed the pajama so I turned the other way and covered myself with duvet not to get tempted by his ethereal feature. I feel the bed sink on the other side indicating that now someone is lying next to me. He came closer and wrapped his hands around my waist.

"Kookie let's cuddle you know I don't like thunders. Please turn around. "

He turned me around and buried his face on my chest. He is a total HOT MACHO DUDE on his everyday life but when it comes to thunder and horror movies he turned immediately to a baby. My baby precisely because during this situations, he only wants me to cuddle not even his parents only me. I wrapped my hand around him. He was already shivering from the sound outside the cottage.

"Shhh..... It's okay Taetae. I'm here with you. " He came closer to me and hugged me tightly not leaving any space between us. He buried his face on the crook of my neck. I felt shiver all over my body. My love is in my arms this close to me but I can't even say him anything.

"Thank you Kookie.... You always stay with me when I'm scared. I love you. " He pressed his lips against my bare skin. And I'm blushing ,..... my heart raced,..... I felt shivers.... I felt my skin burning.... These type of statement will be understatement. But I know I can only be his friend nothing else. Still if I'm getting this chance to say him those 3 magical words I will still grab the chance.

" I love you too my Taetae " I pressed my lips on his hair. We cuddle each other and went to deep slumber.
