Inside the car, silence filled the space.
Blue sat quietly in the passenger seat.
She held the bouquet in her lap and stared out of the window.
Rain slid down the glass as the city lights blurred into long glowing streaks.
Her black eyes remained calm, but inside her mind she was carefully analyzing everything.
Meanwhile, Sky drove without speaking.
But from time to time—
His gaze shifted toward her.
Something about her felt different.
Very different.
Just then—
His phone started ringing.
Sky glanced at the screen.
Noah.
He answered the call through Bluetooth.
“Did you find her?” Noah’s calm voice came through immediately.
“Yes.”
Sky replied simply.
“I found Blue.”
There was a brief pause.
“Where are you now?” Noah asked.
“On the way to the cemetery.”
Sky answered while keeping his eyes on the road.
“The cemetery?”
Noah sounded surprised.
“Yes.”
Blue remained silent beside him as she continued looking outside.
Noah sighed softly.
“Alright. Xavier and I are coming there.”
The call ended.
—
Inside the hotel room, Noah lowered the phone.
Xavier was still lying on the bed like a starfish, half asleep.
Noah spoke calmly.
“Sky found Blue.”
Xavier’s sleepy eyes immediately opened.
“What?!”
Noah grabbed his coat.
“He’s going to the cemetery.”
Before he could say anything else—
Xavier suddenly jumped out of the bed.
His hair looked messy and his expression was still half asleep.
“Wait— wait— wait!”
He rushed toward the door while trying to put on his shoes.
“We need to go there!”
Noah raised an eyebrow.
“Obviously.”
A few minutes later—
They both got into the car.
Xavier sat in the driver’s seat while Noah sat beside him.
The engine started.
As the car drove out of the hotel parking area, Xavier suddenly spoke nervously.
“Do you think Sky is angry?”
Noah looked out the window calmly.
“He probably is.”
Xavier groaned loudly.
“Oh no…”
Noah glanced at him.
“What?”
Xavier gripped the steering wheel dramatically.
“Do we need people to control Sky?”
Noah frowned slightly.
“He’s already with Blue.”
Xavier’s eyes widened.
“Damn!”
Noah looked at him strangely.
“What now?”
Xavier suddenly spoke very seriously.
“We should bring a first aid kit.”
Noah blinked.
“…Why?”
Xavier looked at him like it was obvious.
“What if Sky can’t control his anger and punches someone?”
Noah stared at him.
“…And?”
“Then he might hurt his hand!”
Xavier finished confidently.
Noah’s mouth twitched.
“My mistake,” he said dryly.
“I thought you suddenly developed humanity for other people.”
Xavier scoffed.
“Of course not.”
The car sped toward the cemetery.
