I left her and went to shower. While in the shower, I tried to link Aspen but met silence. It was a bit strange, and Jet became apprehensive.
If I had claimed her now, I would have been at peace, but the silence of a pack member was enough to make me worry.
I got out of the shower, and Dahlia came to me completely naked.
"You haven't touched me in a while, Aiden. " She said, hugging me from the back and caressing my bare chest with her palms. I got irritated, and Jet growled.
She took my growl as an invitation and kissed my back. I immediately pulled her off me. There was no way I would put Aspen through the pain because of her.
I turned to face her and then wore my shirt.
