"We can't do this alone, Aspen," Sage said, and I was stunned by my wolf.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked Sage.
"We cannot succeed at this mission alone; we are bound to fail at this rate. The last time we did this alone, we failed. We need an ally, a true one." She said, and as accurate as what she said was, I did not know if there was anyone I trusted to be my ally.
"Let us see how far this will take us, Sage," I told my wolf, and she was silent.
"Aspen," I heard Aiden's voice in my head, and I did not know what to do.
"Yes, Alpha," I linked him back, and he was silent.
"Where are you?" He asked. I told him where I was.
"How are you feeling? Luis told me you went to him," he said, and I quickly answered.
"I am okay now. Alpha. I am over it. I wish you the best," I said
