Episode1 : The Beginning

It was the first day of summer vacation when Sarah, Michael, David, Emily, and Lily made their secret pact. They gathered at the old oak tree by the river, its branches stretching wide like the protective arms of a guardian. They were only ten years old, but their friendship had already weathered the storms of childhood quarrels and shared adventures.

“We have to promise,” Sarah said, her voice steady and serious, “that we’ll always be friends, no matter what happens.”

Michael, the jokester of the group, grinned. “Even when we’re old and wrinkly?”

“Especially then,” Emily replied, her eyes sparkling with determination. She was the quiet thinker, always observing and absorbing the world around her.

David, ever the skeptic, raised an eyebrow. “And what if we all go to different places?”

Lily, the artist with a heart full of dreams, picked up a fallen leaf and twirled it between her fingers. “We’ll find our way back. Just like this leaf will find its way to the ground, we’ll find our way to each other.”

They each placed a hand on the trunk of the oak, feeling the rough bark beneath their fingers. “Friends forever,” they whispered in unison.
