"Julian, I have made a terrible mistake." I started, pacing around the table in Julian's room.
"Oh God, what did you do this time?" He groaned, sitting up straight on his bed. "Did you accidentally miss your grand bike race with Chase?"
I stopped, stared at him with a straight face. "I forgot that too!" I exclaimed, digging my fingers into my scalp. "s**t! I forgot that too, how could I?".
"If it isn't the bike race, then what? Please don't tell me it has anything to do with Alexia."
"Exactly!" I slid my phone out of my shorts pockets, scrolled through it to the last text message to Jenn, walked up to him and handed him the phone.
