Maria’s POV
I couldn’t believe my dad sent Jonathon to get me while I was with my mate! I was concerned when Jonathan informed me there had been a rouge attack. We hardly ever have them anymore. I was pissed though when he told Noah that he is my fiancé. I have no plans on marrying that baboon!
When I arrive home, they are just finishing the cleanup. No casualties on our end, thank goodness.
Marching up to my dad, I had to let him know I was not okay with what he did.
“Dad. Why did you send Jonathon? Why is he calling me his fiancé? You know I have a mate and I am not rejecting him!” I’m practically yelling at my dad. I don’t usually get this upset with him, and I’m actually surprised that he’s even encouraging rejection.
