Chapter 25: The Hidden Truth

333 Words
Jason Rsman / Henry Linnell’s POV Once safely in my room with Mom, I collapsed onto the bed, exhaustion and grief crushing me. Mom departed after a few moments, leaving me alone with my thoughts, but not for long. Jason quietly crept in, his eyes serious, the weight of revelation heavy on him. “I came back to warn you, but I was too late,” he said, revealing crumpled, old documents. My curiosity instantly sharpened, anxiety rising in tandem. “I saw the marriage contract downstairs. But you need to know—I am not your brother, Tracy.” He revealed the full truth. “My real name is Henry Linnell. Kingston and Ana abducted me, claiming me as their son, while taking over my rightful properties.” Shock froze me in place. “But… this husband… who is he? And the stranger from the club, the one who…” My voice faltered as the memory of Gael resurfaced. Henry’s gaze was steady, pained. “The man who wants to marry you is Gabriel Arden Andrez, Gael’s twin. He is the orchestrator, the manipulator who spiked your drink at the club and engineered the chain of events that followed.” I stammered, desperate for clarity. “Wait… but I only met one of them. Who was he?” “That was Gael Aiden Andrez,” Henry explained. “He assumed the identity of Aiden Clarke, working as your chauffeur, the one who shared those intimate moments with you. Gabriel used the situation to advance his own schemes. Both twins played a part, but Gael never intended to marry you. He acted within a complex web of deception to protect, manipulate, and pursue his own desires.” A crushing wave of betrayal washed over me. The person I had loved, trusted, and surrendered to—his identity had been a mask. The contract, the lies, the twisted manipulation—it was all Gabriel. The realization left me hollow, teetering between rage and despair.
