Osborne's voice was direct. "Ms. Jenkins, the men can't stay with you forever. What's your plan?"
Kelsey paused, thinking it over. "I'll just stay at a nearby hotel for the night. They probably won't find me there."
She knew those three men were still furious. They might even wait for her at her apartment.
"You haven't contacted Nikolas?" Osborne asked, almost as if reminding her.
She realized she had forgotten. After being saved, she hadn't even thanked him. But did Nikolas really need a thank you? He wasn't the type to care about things that weren't practical. He was all about deals.
"Nikolas' side is probably the safest, but whether he'll let you stay... that's up to him," Osborne added, noting her silence. He already knew she hadn't reached out.
