Jojo wiped the sweat off his brow. He didn’t like lying to his parents. But his father had left him no choice. And now he was enlisting Erwin to help him in a plan, which would assuredly get Erwin in trouble with his parents. Jojo reached his hand from the back seat to turn up the air conditioning output in the Lexus.
Erwin opened the car’s rear door, where Jojo was seated and handed Jojo a small box. “It’s all programmed. Your contacts should be in the new phone now. How did it go at the bank?”
Before he answered, Jojo glanced behind him. The bank had already closed for the day. He breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn’t sure if he would encounter any problems. Luckily, he didn’t.
