Chapter 13 Jojo followed Francesca and Jizelle around the hotel and took notes. The resort had large suite rooms, and one dining room with a bar that made most of the money for the hotel. Francesca admitted that the initial costs of bringing in marble and the best teak and mahogany cost the Lopezes considerable sums. The best money well spent was in the plumbing. Unfortunately, the resort relied on the local infrastructure to provide water, and because of recent problems in Palawan, the water wasn’t potable.
