GEMMA'S POV

I woke up to Sun rays shining through my curtains . I hear a knock on the door, I slowly go to the door and open it. I sigh in relief when I see that it is Felix " good morning Gemma, I'm going to training, I came to see if you'd like to join me" He said in his deep voice. I give him a nod, " yes please, dad. Just give me five minutes" I spoke with a sleepy voice. He gives me a nod and heads downstairs.

After getting in the shower and putting on my black leggings, training sneakers and blue sports bra I tie my short curly blue hair in a ponytail. I bounce down the stairs and grab an apple, I head out with my adoptive father to the training grounds. I go over to my only friends in the pack Olivia, Oliver, they're twins and their older brother Sebastain is soon to be Beta.

"Good morning Gemma, I hear Willam and Sebastian should be here tomorrow" Olivia squeals. "Liv, you know how William is too Gemma. He's horrible, I can't believe he's going to be our Alpha" Oliver said with furrowed brows. " Really Olly it's ok, I just hope to avoid him, but I'm happy you're happy Liv" I said reassuring Oliver that it's ok.

"OK everyone gather around, you may have already heard by now that Alpha Damon's and Luna Sophia's son William and our Beta's son Sebastian will be here tomorrow. That means we only have 3 hours of training today to get ready for their arrival, start your laps then go in groups of 3 and take turns sparring" bellows Felix. I turn to my friends whose eyes are full of pity, they know I'm not as physically strong as other werewolves because of my fae background.

We're on our last lap when Felix calls for me. "Yes dad, what is it?" I asked concerned. "Gemma darling I need you to go help Sophia with the preparations." He states. I nod my head in understanding, he doesn't want anyone to know other than the twins about my fae powers. "Thanks dad, I'll leave now, I love you" I give him a hug and he kisses my head "I love you too Gem" He says as he gives me a tight squeeze.

I head into the pack house, and go to the Alphas office. I knock on the door and "enter" comes a deep voice I know too well. "Hey Damon, dad said to come help Sophia" I state. "Yes dear she'll be here in a minute, I trust everything is alright" He says firmly. "Yes sir, you know how dad is" I chuckle dryly. Soon the luna comes in "come on dear we have so much to do" she said grabbing my arm.

5 hours later

I plopped down on Livs bed "that was exhausting, at least everything is done now, why are there so many different kinds of the same flower? '' I said. "At least you got to skip out on sparring, Liv here beat my ass" chuckled Oliver. " I'm nervous to see him tomorrow guys, he's bullied me for Years with his little gang. He always had to tell me how weak and pathetic I am" tears fall down my face as I remember the last thing he said before he left to go Alpha training.

I walked the halls of school trying to get to my next class before the bell rang. When I'm suddenly pushed to the floor. "Watch it brat" comes an annoying high voice, I look up to see none other than Williams hoe Lucy." I'm sorry I didn't mean to" I start to apologize when a slap is to my face knocks me back. I hold my stinging cheek as tears well up in my eyes. "shut up b***h" William orders. I squander in fear " look at you such a weak pathetic shewolf, you should've died that day with you dad." He spits at me. he kicked me a few more times before leaving with Lucy. I just sit there crying. I'm not sure how long I was there until Olivia and Oliver found me.

"oh my goddess Gem what happened to you? Olly mindlink Seb now" Liv said. I try to say no but my jaw hurts, I think its broken again. I just hold Livs hand and cry again. Olly comes to the other side of me " Gem was it him? did he do this? I wouldn't tell Seb if you don't want me to, but I need to know, was this William" concern in his voice. I nod my head and I see him clenched his jaw and fists. I hear Liv gasp. "What do you mean again Olly, he's hurt her before?" Liv asks eyes full of unshed tears. I see Oliver clear his throat "yes Liv, she made me promise not to tell anyone, him and that b***h Lucy" He says through gritted teeth. "What about Lucy Brother" comes a voice from behind. Oliver looks me one last time before looking towards his brother " your best friend and his b***h did this to Gemma. Again. Sebastian this hatred of there's is going too far, the Alpha or at least father should know about this" Oliver almost screams.

Sebastian clenches and unclenches his hands. he walks to me and squats down in front of me. he reaches out his hand and touches my cheek " has he done anything else? has he said anything else Gem" He speaks sweetly to me I see the tears in his eyes. My wolf Willow comes forward and speaks "he has, but he really hurt her this time. he said Gemma should've died with our father."

Liv and Olly get on either side of me holding me as I cry. "shh It's ok Gem, everything will be fine in the end, look on the bright side tomorrow you'll be 18 and finally know who your mate is" Liv says as she smooths my hair. I fall asleep listening to the sweet nothings Liv and Olly whisper to me.
