Chapter 19For the second night in a row, I got no sleep. At dawn the next morning, I was staring at a pair of old eyes in the mirror, looking as if I was the one who had drunk a gallon of beer, not Fitzburger. In addition to the dark circles around my eyes, there were the beginnings of crow’s feet at the corners, and maybe a hint of gray in my mustache. How many times had I forgotten to shave it off?
