MADELINE'S POV
I was summoned to alpha Konan's study. This time I had no idea what to expect.
I walked down the corridor leading to his study with my heart pounding in my chest. The heavy door creaked open as I entered the grand study. Alpha Konan sat in behind his desk—unflinched.
"Which do you want to hear first, Madeline. The good news or the bad news," he asked, with a tone of menance.
I was confused. He could start with anyone he deemed fit, why was I now compelled to make a choice.
