As soon as Dr. Ferris rushed out of the room, the atmosphere in the room changed automatically, there was total silence. It was as if everyone in the room was occupied by the silent thoughts of their heart.
Alpha Damon gritted his teeth, his head was swarming with unspoken words. His Beta, Alex, stood rigid beside him, his eyes sharp and alert, as always.
