The Runne Kingdom — the home to royalty and beings that many would believe never existed. The Runne Kingdom was established back in the 1700s by three of the most powerful beings — Clark Mega, Simoné Proud, and Dean Pango. In a world where humans existed and seemed to be the supreme race, these three particular beings were rejected by society for being different. Disappointed but not weakened, the three worked together to build a kingdom where they and others like them would always be accepted. As time passed, more and more of their kind would relocate to the Runne Kingdom as a way to hide from the dangers that existed in the real world. The Runne Kingdom became their safe haven and was ruled by the big three.  What made them different? They were something that humans weren't prepared for. They were stronger in all sorts of forms but they weren't dangerous. While humans fought for them to disappear, they fought for equality and a chance to be accepted. They were mutants. Clark Mega had the ability to create force fields. He could create a force field as small as a basketball to as tall as the World Trade Center. Clark Mega vowed to be the protector of the kingdom. Simoné Proud has the ability to manipulate electricity. She provided everything in the kingdom that contained power. Dean Pango was a shapeshifter. He could transform himself into anything which automatically made him more powerful than the others. In the 1800s, they were referred to as "freaks" and had to deal with humans constantly traveling to their kingdom as an attempt to kill them to prevent more mutation from happening. This resulted into the barrier being created. The barrier was a huge force field around the kingdom which protected them from any human beings. The only way for anyone to enter the kingdom is if that person was a mutant. Humans were forbidden. As The Runne Kingdom grew, the demand for one ruler began.  Clark, Simoné, and Dean all created the kingdom which made it harder to choose which would be the ruler. Simoné was forbidden by popular vote to not be eligible for the throne for simply being a woman. Betrayed and upset, Simoné left The Runne Kingdom leaving only a memory of her. The remaining two could not decide who'd rule so the both of them decided to fight for the throne. Dean won the battle by killing Clark and he was declared King of The Runne Kingdom.  Months turned to years and years turned to decades. By 2010, rules changed and women were able to rule and the population was at 54,000. The Runne Kingdom crowned a new king - King William. The new king was extremely popular for years until he did the unthinkable — he cheated on his wife with a human. Shocked, the entire kingdom demanded for the King to step down. Queen Victoria's pregnancy was later announced and the kingdom rejoiced seemingly to have forgotten about their King's betrayal. Seven months later, a beautiful princess was born - she was Princess Raine. To celebrate the birth of the future monarch, the citizens gathered in front of the palace and watched as fireworks exploded.  While everyone continued to celebrate the birth of the princess, a hate group formed against the king for his behavior. The leader of this hate group was Melvin Baxter. Melvin could casts spells. He managed to do the unthinkable and betray the kingdom by placing a spell upon the princess - a spell where she would lose any power she possessed by the time she reached the age of 13. To protect her daughter, Queen Victoria stepped in front of Princess Raine with a shield but wasn't quick enough. Melvin's spell killed her instantly. Afraid of the consequences, Melvin attempted to kill himself by casting a spell on himself. However, it backfired and hit Princess Raine. He quickly grabbed the baby and took off. He managed to make it out of The Runne Kingdom and into the world filled with the human race. It didn't take long before he was identified and brought back to the kingdom.  The King demanded to know where his daughter was but Melvin refused to answer. Instead, he apologized for murdering the Queen. He revealed that the princess was alive but cursed with no way to lift the curse. Melvin was sentenced to death. He was executed in the dungeons of the palace and his last words being: "I apologize to the people for killing the Queen. It was simply an accident. I accept the consequences to my actions. Therefore, I will greet death as an old friend."  Years passed and there was still no sign of the princess. The King grew depressed and gave up on hope. The Runne Kingdom gave up on searching for the cursed princess but they never forgot her. Every year for her birthday, the fireworks decorated the sky in hopes of shining a light so bright that it would reach the princess. The Runne Kingdom carried on. The children all attended a school for their kind located deep into the country, the parents continued to live their everyday lives, and the King continued to rule.  In the busy city of New York was a 19 year old girl who went by the name of Journee Marie. She had the prettiest black hair with one silver streak, her mocha skin was as soft as a baby's bottom, she had the biggest eyes that complimented her dark eyebrows perfectly, and she carried herself with grace. Journee grew up in a home with her foster mother — Jane. Jane could not have children and lost her husband due to a bad car wreck so she adopted 4 kids to help her cope. There was the 17 year old Latina bombshell named Penny, there was the arrogant 18 year old named Chase, the quiet and shy Zoey from Thailand and Journee Marie - the lost princess who so happened to also be The Cursed Child.
