UNKNOWN LOCATION

The wind blew furiously, with much intensity, showing no mercy, falling some tree branches in the process.

A woman could be seen shivering as she ran among the woods, clutching her child close to her chest, as rain poured down heavily from the sky.

She kept running as a dark figure with an inscription on it head "VENGEANCE" kept chasing her with an axe in it hand.

The figure leaped as it walked hurridely towards her, dragging the Axe along with it.

She looked back with tears in her eyes as she ran hurriedly to her compound and lock the gate.

She ran inside her apartment after locking the door behind her, but was shocked beyond words to see the monstrous creature standing in the middle of her sitting room, with a smirk on it face.

She moved back in fear, she held her baby closer to her chest.

" Please don't hurt me." she pleaded.

She tried the door knob, but it wasn't working.

The creature dragged her violently, in the process making her hit her head on the edge of the sitting room glass table, her head started bleeding, as her baby rolled out of her hand.

The creature walk towards the baby and pick her up, with the Axe shinning in it hand.

"Please don't hurt my child." she wishpered weakly.

The creature paid a deaf ear, as it used the Axe to cut the baby into two.

Tears rolled down the woman's eyes as the creature walked towards her and cut her neck.

NEXT MORNING

Texas town was in chaos as the popular news caster and researcher was declared missing.

The surprising thing was that her house was found empty, with blood stains in her sitting room.

Her car was later found close to the river, after some investigation, it was later concluded, that she was involved in a car accident, which led to drowning.

Her body and that of her child could not be found.

Well the blood stains found in her apartment still remain a mystery.

Her apartment was locked and retained by the government.

Sophie's POV

Sophie look at her face in the mirror for the umpteenth time.

"Gosh" she said, licking her lips, which was dry.

"Sophie!!" Her mom shouted from the dining room.

" Good morning dad and mum." She said cheerfully, hugging her mum and dad.

"How was your night princess?" Her dad asked.

" Fine daddy."

"Gentle man, I've told you countless times to stop pampering Sophie, she didn't even come downstairs for prayers."

"Come on mom, I prayed inside my room" Sophie said rolling her eyes.

"Well......." Her mum started.

" mum..... " Sophie weaned, " I would be late for school."

She settled for breakfast which consist of omelette, bread and hot chocolate.

" ummm" she moaned as she munch the bread, baked by her mom.

"Gosh, mom you are the best baker ever." She said giving her mom a thumbs up, as she stood up to go to school and wish her parent, good bye.

Sophie walked to the main as she waited patiently for the school bus, she's in her second year in senior high school.

The school bus finally arrived as she mounted it and walked to the back sit to sit.

Different kids could be seen, having a conversation.

Closing her eyes, She plugged in her earpiece, as she listened to her favorite singer, Cece Winians.

Well she's a lover of gospel music,but she prefers Cece Winians musics.

The school bus finally reached the school, which had a bold inscription written on the signboard

" MOUNT OLIVE HIGH SCHOOL"

Sophie alighted from the bus as she walked hurriedly to her class room.

The class was noisy, indicating there was no teacher in the class, as the student made noise.

She was walking to her seat, when someone closed her eyes from behind.

"Gosh, Elena, I know it's you." She said smiling as she perceived her friend perfume.

"Yeah" Elena said, removing her hand.

"How was your night"

"Twas fine."

The Biology teacher came inside the class and everyone, went back to their seats.

"Today I will be speaking on............"

BREAK TIME

CAFETERIA

Sophie and Elena took their tray as they walked to a table to have their lunch.

Jeremy a guy with a big medicated glass and a complete nerd, who happens to be their friend joined them, as he settled on a chair next to them.

"So whatsup, I was calling you yesterday, but your line wasn't going through" Elena said with her mouth full of burger

"Well i was reporting miss Thompson's practical, and my phone was low" Sophie replied.

"Come to think of it I forgot about miss Thompson's practical"

"You are just being lazy..." Jeremy chirped in.

"Common.... I'm not" Elena said pouting.

Their conversation was cut short by noise.

"Speaking of the devil" Elena wishpered.

Noise could be heard in the cafeteria as, Audrey and her squad stepped into the cafeteria.

Today she was rocking colour pink, her hair was also dyed in pink colour, same with her minions.

They cat walked to the Cafeteria, with an arrogant look on their face.

A junior student who wasn't watching as she walked, mistakenly bumped into Audrey, spilling juice on Audrey's shirt in the process.

The cafeteria became quiet .

"Omg, I'm so sorry" the junior student said timidly.

Audrey didn't even wait for the junior student to finish apologizing before slapping her.

"How dare you?" Audrey fired hotly, "can't you watch where you are going blind cat"

"I'm sorry" the junior student said timidly as tears flowed from her eyes.

"Gosh, just take a look at my clothe, see how it look, this clothes can buy your whole family, if I'm not mistsken.

I'm sure you are in this prestigious school, because of scholarship. Follow me." Audrey said dragging the junior student hair along as her and her minions left the cafeteria.

Everyone continued with what they were doing.

"I'm tired of all the bullying going in this school and the school authority pays a deaf ear to it." Sophie muttered sadly.

CLOSING TIME

The school bell rang, indicating closing time.

Sophie hurried out of the class in a bid to meet up with her mum, in her bakery.

"Sophie wait" Jeremy and Elena shouted, running after her.

"Gosh, Sophie where are you rushing too, sincerely speaking are you Usain Bolt" Elena said breathing heavily.

" I have to go to the bakery on time, so as to help my mun attend to customers."

"Oh"

"So any plans for the weekend" asked Elena

"Nothing really, just going to the bakery to help my mum and then church on Sunday."

" so boring" Jeremy said rolling his eyes.

" you mean going to church is boring?"

"Yep"

"Like seriously, there is no where sweeter than the presence of God Jeremy or Elena am I lieing?"

" I'm hungry" Elena said pouting.

"Omg, I don't know how I end up with the both of you as my friends."
