Elena's POV
The presence of Luke's mother seemed to finally ease the chaos and she dragged Isabelle away to the guest room whilst Leo sheepishly went back to his own room. I was about to get up and walk to my own room, but Luke picked me up before I had the chance.
"Luke？" I asked coyly as I wrapped my arms around his neck, looking up at him with a smile in my eyes.
"Are you happy now?" He asked as he carried me to his room.
"Thanks to Leo, I'm in a much better mood." Anyone who watched such a farce would have difficulty remembering anything sad that had happened recently.
"I'll reward him tomorrow then." Luke chuckled as he carried me into the room, put me on the bed, and leaned over and kissed me.
