“I'll make you regret what you were about to do tonight, Sebastian." She pulled him back as he made to leave, taking the pregnancy report from his hand.
“I want to see you try.” He pulled away from her before he left her to the other guests, Siena’s face held a light smile as she watched Erica hurriedly walking towards Sebastian…pouting and cornering him like a puppy.
Since no one liked her in the room except Grandfather Harper, she didn't bother starting a conversation with anyone; she didn't need them in her life…she could remember how she always tried to force a conversation, but once she tried, she only got turned into one of the maids, paid with insults… then, she used to love it, thinking they would love her, but nothing was going to change…”f**k ‘em.”
" You saying something, dear?”
" Not at all, grandfather,” she smiled, turning to the old man, her drinking buddy. Even in his old age, he still had a lot of alcohol resistance, but here she was, already feeling light-headed with just three glasses while Sebastian wasn't watching. ‘Would he stop her from drinking? Like he owned her life.’ Angered, she downed a bottle in long gulps, which had the old man bursting into chuckles.
“Perfecta!" He urged her on until she felt her soul leaving her body.
" I think…I need to get going." She said, not waiting for a reply before staggering her way out, her head aching like hell until she suddenly couldn't feel her feet on the floor. “Oh f**k, you make me sick, Siena." The voice of a man was the last thing she heard before she blacked out.

“You need to stop her from drinking too much to avoid miscarriage, young Mr. Harper. We don't want a miscarriage or growth restrictions for the fetus, and for her health too; she is in a delicate state.” Sebastian watched the woman in his bed who was sleeping like she gave no f**k in the world, but that wasn't it; her body was burning.
“How long would it take for her to wake up?" This was past ten in the morning, and this woman wasn't showing signs of waking up. He got late to the company yesterday all because of her, and today it seemed he wouldn't be going at all. He loosened the tie from his neck, releasing a sigh.
“She seems a little bit stressed; soon, I guess. She just has to use the needed drugs when she's awake."
" Thanks, Doc.” As soon as the old doctor exited the room, Sebastian sat in the chair close to the one-way glass walls of his room, looking at the city outskirts, wondering when Siena would wake up so he could get the f**k out of here.
His phone suddenly began ringing close to him, and he took it only to find ‘Erica’ calling. “Hey, Erica."
“Yo... you didn't come to any of the company today; is everything all right? Or are you sick?!” he heard her gasp through the phone.
“No, I am fine." His voice lacked any emotions as he replied.
“I…I saw a pregnancy report in the trash… it has Siena's name written on it. Is it yours, Sebastian?” Her voice grew into a whisper the more she spoke.
“Yes, it's mine." He wasn't shaken to admit it… he knew how Erica was trying to get closer to him before, and he wanted to give her what her heart wanted the most because she had helped him. But now he had made quite a mistake that didn't seem like a mistake now but was supposed to be. He got Siena pregnant just because of a one-night stand, which he wasn't ready to find whose fault it was for some reasons and he didn't want Siena aborting the baby either.
“Do you want to be with Siena, Seb?"
“I don't want to talk about this now, Erica."
“I am sorry; I am just happy for you. Whatever you choose, it's your decision; I just don't want you getting hurt. I don't trust Siena now; she has changed a lot." She cared about him so much more than his own wife, and yes, Siena had changed a lot, making him worry… she was getting so fast these days that it was quite hard to judge her next moves.
Silence reigned between them. “It's my birthday tomorrow, remember? I would love it if you come."
“I have always being in every of your birthdays,I would be there tomorrow Erica; bye." He ended the call abruptly as he came to stand next to where Siena slept, staring at her stomach like she would suddenly grow a bump…filled with his child. He had never thought he had won until this day, a smile growing on his lips as he brought his hand down to her stomach, caressing lightly. As if feeling a presence, Siena stirred in her sleep, and he retracted his hand, pushing it into his pocket.
“ohhh f**k…” she yawned, her hand digging into her hair before he watched her rub her eyes softly. After then, she finally opened her eyes to find him staring at her and the weird room she was in. "What are you doing here? And where am I?”
" You are in our house, my room, which would be our room from now on.” She released a scoff after getting it. Wanting to seat up, a quick pain sliced through her lower back, wincing a little, before Sebastian leaned down to help, and she slapped his hand off. "Don't touch me.”
He held his hand back. "You drank too much last night, and I won't go easy on you if you lose the baby; the doctor said your intake of alcohol can make you lose the baby.”
"Okay… anything else? I feel so tired, and I would love to go to my room."
“Do you have a problem with the bed?"
“No, I have a problem taking in your saint; it's haunting me." She pulled the coverlet off her body as she threw her legs down to stand, only to feel dizziness hitting her. “The f**k is wrong with me?" She whispered, releasing a sigh.
“Get back on the bed so we can make a deal."
“What deal?" She turned to him, holding the headboard for support.
“Something which could help us!" A half smile that barely reached his eyes stayed on his face as he folded his arms watching her with hawking gaze “Do you still want out of this relationship?"
“f*****g why not? This is far from being a relationship." The smile on his lips left after she said that, but Siena was past giving a f**k.
“Who do you want to be with after the divorce?"
“None of your business. Get it straight, mister." She wasn't having it with him; the mere sight of him made her pissed. Not until he got close enough, like yesterday, could she believe that shitty feeling of her toes almost curling at the sight of him was still there.
“You would have my baby, Siena; you won't do anything to harm it. Alcohol isn't f*****g allowed, and you would be staying in this room so I can have my eyes on you even at night."
Her voice thinned, her brows furrowing. " You can't make rules for me, Sebastian; darling, you can't dictate my life.”
Sebastian's gaze darkened; how he hated talking too much, but this woman... "You can make your rules too. I am not dictating your life, but if you have to make your rules, if you have to convince Grandfather you wanted a divorce, you have to abide by those rules; we sleep in this same room.”
“Oh, we are both making rules, and I get to leave the baby too?” She bit her lips, the thought of it creating a weird feeling within her; never would she think of birthing a child she wouldn't stay to watch… yes, she wanted freedom from him; she had wasted enough time here as a godforsaken housewife.
“Yes, you don't have to worry; Erica would be its mother.” Fury was an understatement as she processed Sebastian's words.
“Erica? My child?"
“Yes, Erica—our child? When we both get divorced, I would give your role to Erica; she would play the perfect role as its mother."
“You are saying this as if…as if it's a drama; you can't be serious." She had never been so torn between emotions in her life like this day…of all women, that b***h Erica?
“That's my decision; make yours."
"Really? f**k, okay. We stay in the same room, but not the same bed. I won't stay trapped in this house; that s**t you pulled with me locking me in, don't f*****g try it again, Sebastian…I need a job…”
"I am not asking for payment anymore since you are having my baby.”
"When I am out of your life, I need money.”
"I would settle you: houses, car, money…"
“I don't want anything from you… pregnant women do work, and it's still early pregnancy; why can't I?"
“You could harm my child."
“It's a part of me; I wouldn't be so cruel." She replied.
“I don't trust you; you wanted to abort it at the hospital." She rolled her eyes, releasing a frustrated sigh.
“The baby would be fine if you let me have a job and stop f*****g up every job opportunity for me.” She was almost yelling that part, remembering what he had done, and a knowing smile formed on his lips before she continued. "I can't imagine what I would do if I continue staying in this house with your maids and stupid guard, yo…”
"You would work for me; pick a job in one of my companies, and I would pay you double what I pay my workers.”
With a sly smile on her lips, she said, "Working for Sebastian Harper, how sweet.”
