Chapter 9: Alfred vs. Aella

They all go to the backyard, and prepare themselves before the fight.
Cal: I must inform everyone about the rules.
#1 Never hesitate to harm each other
#2 You can use anything on your surroundings as a weapon
#3 Armor is not allowed
Aella understood the 3 rules and she immediately observe and analyze her surroundings. Alfred walk towards Aella.
Alfred: I’m sorry if I will harm you
The sadness in his eyes is obvious.
Aella: Don’t be a downer, just because I’m a human doesn’t mean I can’t do a decent fight. Let’s have some fun shall we?
Ace suddenly told them, “the fight starts now!”
Alfred’s attitude immediately changed. She observed Aella and studying her stance.
Alfred suddenly charged straight at her, Aella dodge it and suddenly she saw on the corner of her eye that Alfred is about to kick her on the side and she immediately use her arm to block it. His kick is powerful, she almost stumble but she recover.
Aella: (Dang he’s strong and smart too)
Alfred dominating Aella move by move, until Aella escaped his attack and she tried to do a triangle choke him but he stopped her.
Every move, every attack and every block are precisely planned. Aella luckily land a big blow on his face, Alfred shoot ice shards to her. She used the steel table as cover, then kick it in front of him. He penetrated it with his ice.
Ace just calmly watched both of them fighting.
Alfred summon ice spikes right where Aella is standing, in instinct Aella jump to avoid it. Both of them stopped and focused their eyes to each other.
Alfred: (She’s good, I didn’t expect she still can even stand this long)
Aella: (This is not his real maximum strength. He still has many cards to play. He is full of surprises)
He looked at her with a calm face. While Aella is smiling at him…
Alfred: Aella! stop messing around and please give your best shot!
Aella: I can say the same to you…
Alfred: Not being arrogant about it but if you really want to fight me in my real strength and beat you, you’ll surrender ok?
Aella: What do you me—
Suddenly she saw a snowflake and a snow falling from the sky. She is now witnessing the power of Alfred.
In a blink of an eye, she felt Alfred’s presence behind her. She been able to defend herself from the attack and then she saw him in mid air.
She rolled out of the way and run. She keeps running and running and running until….
Ace’s expression changed when he saw Alfred tripped… He didn’t notice there’s a big rock underneath the thick snow that tripped his foot, then in godspeed Aella is on top of him and pinned him on the ground. Alfred with a shock on his face because he didn’t expect that Aella just wait for the right moment for him to be tripped on that rock. He looked at her eyes and smiled.
Alfred raised both of his hand as a sign of surrender. Aella stood in front of him and grabbed his hand to help him to stand.
Suddenly, Ace grabbed her neck and raised his hand mid air. Aella is suffocating but she swung her legs and put on Ace’s shoulder then she do the triangle choke succesfully.
Alfred: Why did you do that for Ace?!
Ace neglect his words. And his eyes with fury focused on Aella. He smirked and walk towards her. Ace grabbed her chin and raise it to have eye to eye contact, he smirked.
Ace: I didn’t expect you b***h have the gut to attack me.
Aella: You misunderstood me your highness, what I only did is a self defense.
Ace laugh at her, because for the first time someone has the gut to make him realize that he’s wrong. Aella looked at him with a weird face. When Ace finally stop laughing, he say.
Ace: I see what you are talking about brother, she is quite peculiar. She will entertain me.
Aella: Brother?...
She looked at Alfred and she realize he is one of the Rulers! She kneeled in front of him and immediately apologized to him for having improper manner to him and mistaking him as one of the servant.
Alfred just stare at her, then helped her to stood up. He smile.
Alfred: Just what I told you early, I want to be treated equal to others. So, treat me like a friend or else I will be mad at you, understood?
She bit her lower lip and nod.
Alfred: Good
Ace: *ehem* not to spoil the air between the 2 of you, you both should heal yourselves.
Cal walk towards Aella and assisted her to go to her room and heal her.
After her bruised was healed.
Cal: Miss Ramirez, you will have a dinner with the lords at 8pm. Please wear this yellow dress in dinner time.
Aella: Ok sir…
Cal: Miss you can just call me “Cal”
Aella: Then you can just call me by my name too
Cal: I’m afraid that I am not allowed to do that…
Aella: Then I will keep you calling “Sir” as long as you still calling me by “Miss”
Cal sighed because he can’t stop her to call him “Sir”.
