  “Eric, what would you do if you were in my position?”   I glance over at him while waiting for an answer, but when he doesn’t say anything right away, I approach him to get his attention.   “Eric, are you alright?” I say a little louder this time.   Glancing up at me, he hesitates and then answers finally. “Yeah, I was just thinking. If I were you, I would make sure that everyone knows you mean business by cleaning the house of all the pests? Do you still have confidants in the castle?”   I nod, and then he continues, “Well, then I would have them figure out who was involved and tell you. It is so much easier for them to hear conversations than it is for you. People always pay special attention when authoritative figures are around, but not so much when a lone person is lurking
