The Maze Part 2

~Anika's P.O. V~       The Mindflare creature lead me down several twists and turns, so many in fact that my feet were hurting com the sheer amount of walking, yet the castle still lies farther away. I started to question if this thing knew where it was going, taking this chance to actually look around, I noticed that I was not the only human entrapped here. There were men and women whose minds had been lost and they went crazy from saying they found Dracula. One woman in particular stood out to me, she had red long hair, eyes of the clearest oceans and looked like another America's Next Top Model candidate. I listened to her. "Vlad, my love. I am so sorry! I killed you... I killed you. My Dracula is gone... What have I done?!" Dracula, huh? Coincidence? No. This must have been Mina, she really was beautiful from the stories I heard growing up. She just repeated the same words over and over again. I had to finally take my eyes off of her and when I did, my guide was gone. I started to panic until it came out of the last turn like some Harry Potter magic s**t, I almost had a heart attack. It motioned for me to follow it, when I did O came to a gorgeous hallway. There in the middle stood another vampire I easily recognized but could not come to terms with believing he was real.  "You're real too?!?" I asked in surprise "Vlad didn't explain s**t to you, did he?" I was too mesmerized to hear him. He was the definition of drop dead gorgeous. "Hello? Anika!" He snapped his fingers at me. "I'm sorry... What?" Wiping the drool off my face. He sighed and shook his head, "I am Jace, yes I know I look like what's-his-face from The Original's. However, I am more bad ass than he is and am real." "So... You aren't Elijah?" I was actually disappointed in this. "No. He is a character, I am the real deal. His actor and I look similar, but I assure you, we have no relation." He came towards me and nspected me. "The dragon/wolf hybrid. No wonder Gabriel fell for you. Your eyes resemble emeralds. But a fire burns in them like a forge." Wait... What? He kept inspecting my physique and making small notes to himself. Five minutes later he told the Mindflare to leave us. Unlike with some of the other dragon princes that were at mine and Quinn's first change, his eyes held no lust or desire for me. I didn't know if I was insulted or grateful for that. He stepped away from me giving me one last look before he spoke again. "You need training. Your masters taught you well on their own, but that was fighting mortals. You're fighting immortals and those that cannot die naturally." "How do you know my masters?" Was he looking into my memories? "It's actually rather complicated. I saw the many faces you have met when I looked into your eyes. 3 held a higher opinion in them along with Gabriel and Quinn. Yes, I know about your brother too. Even though we are locked away I still get news." He explained as best he could. "Before we begin your training, I want to hear about those three masters. From start to finish." Well, this was going to tale some time. -4 years ago-      Mom and dad finally agreed with my principal that my studies as a high school student were over and he recommended that I start taking college courses. My parents were both proud and worried that if I didn't get the proper education, I would fall behind. He reassured them that I was well beyond high school level. I had asked him yesterday if I could graduate with my friends, he agreed with one condition, that I wrote a paper documenting my travels when I started them and asked for a full copy. I agreed to his terms and set out on my own adventure, first I would travel the U.S, see Yellow Stone, Las Vegas, visit Montana and see what herds of wild horses there were. Once done in the U.S, I went to.Canada, that was really cold and I picked the worst time to go. Winter. I like cold, but not below freezing. After Canada, I went to Asia, there I met my Master Xaio, I saw him doing this amazing type of Tai Jitsu that I asked how much was his fee. Xaio was a hard master, I woke up right before the dawn and didn't got to bed until well after sunset. Within a year I mastered his techniques. Then I went to Japan where I met Master Hanzo. He was teaching a course on Wushu. Fighting with weapons while making it look as graceful as dancing. I was entranced with this that I wanted to learn it, it was then I met Peter, he asked me out when I was almost done with my Wushu training. Finally, we stopped in Vietnam where I met Master Hien. He was alone in a beautiful sanctuary surrounded by three waterfalls. He was practicing his  Krav Maga, when he noticed me staring at him, he tried to order us away, I refused. Then he issued to me a challenge, defeat him on a 1 v 1. Of I won he would teach me his martial art. If I lost, I would be his care giver. Sadly, I lost to him, but instead of him keeping his word, he made me his student, saying I held too much promise to keep me as a maid. Peter never tried to learn any of the martial arts that I did, instead he went to the clubs that were around and drank until he dipped. It was legal here, I never approved. -Back to Present "I see. Show me. Come! We are going to the training hall." He commanded. I wasn't going to argue. So, I followed him. When we entered, the world hall didn't come to mind, my thought was: "A f*****g coleseum?!?"
