Alejandro parked the car and turned to Maria, his eyes shining with affection. "I'll be back soon, my love," he said, leaning in to kiss her goodbye.
Maria smiled, feeling a sense of happiness wash over her. "I'll be here, waiting for you," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alejandro nodded, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. "I love you," he said, his voice low and husky.
"I love you too," Maria replied, her heart overflowing with emotion. With one last kiss, Maria got out of the car and Alejandro watched as she walked inside before driving off.
As Maria walked towards Gabriella's room, she couldn't help but feel nervous, she wondered how the other workers who knew her would take her arrival but call it luck, she didn't encounter any of them.
