Chapter 26

1120 Words
Alena looked straight at her house at this time; she was surprised. Why, from the outside, the place seems so quiet. Her face immediately contorted with fear. What has happened to her family? After the death of her mother, Alena lived with her father. The house they lived in when her father and herself worked at CDA was in an elite environment; their financial life was above average, they could be said to be second-class rich. Because of her father's high monthly salary, while working in the company, after her father was expelled, their financial life was so complex that they couldn't even afford to buy food because no one wanted to employ her father. "The only way we've got to get out of here," said the man, Alena's father, while his wife glanced at him. She knew her husband's every struggle in achieving all of this, but getting out of the famous detective's office was like a nightmare to them. It's like opening the pit of death for them one by one. "Whatever you see as good, I will follow it." His wife follows him without hesitation; she is a faithful wife who will always support and accompany him. In happy times, during the heyday of him and in times of trouble that hit him and so affected the wheels of their family's economy. Exiting the CDA is a soul-ripping death. It is undeniable after they sold their house, they had a lot of money, and the wife comforted her husband, "We can still work; I will also go out of the house and make money." However, unfortunately, Alena's father was kicked and beaten when he tried to propose elsewhere. "Go! I don't want to see you here any longer!" said the security guard who guarded the company. Alena's father was about forty-five years old when he left CDA. "Please pass my job application to the personnel department. Let them accept it. My qualifications are excellent; at least let them read it first. Please accept this." Alena's father fell on the floor, and his body was repeatedly kicked, spat on, and pressed in the leg so that fresh blood came out from the corner of his lips. Even though Alena's father already seemed to be in a lot of pain, the security guard didn't show any mercy. Instead, by force, he snatched the application letter and tore it over Alena's father's body. Alena's father's face was hurt, his hands were stretched up, with a shivering voice, he shouted, "P--please, don't tear it, I beg you. I want me to get a job back... I beg you don't tear it. I beg you... "Too late, the document was split in two, and when the sound of Alena's father's roar grew louder, the security guard immediately stepped on Alena's father's face, pressed, and moved him right in the face until, shouting at him, "Shut up!" before kicking him until Alena's father vomited blood from his mouth. The blood remained on his face and around the body until he was curled up in pain several hours later. His whole body shook from the intense pain. Alena screamed in fear; she ran to her father's limp body. "Dad! Dad! Dad! What happened to you!" Tears rolled down Elena's face. He was depressed when he saw his father like a man who lost the war with wounds torn all over his body. Her mother was wailing in sorrow, lamenting her husband's body; there were holes in several places on her husband's body. Her eyes were heavy as tears spilled down his body. Her husband was immediately taken to the hospital, and she needed intensive care. Once Alena said to her father and mother, who had fallen into poverty, "I will apply at CDA." Her mother heard Alena's words. His father had just arrived home. He was carrying an empty beer bottle. "Stupid child! Why are you still talking!" Since life has become so complex, Alena's father often gets drunk at home. His temperament was high, and he fled to intoxicating drinks. "I've submitted my application to the CDA," said Alena with a lowered face, but there was a hint of happiness on Alena's face. She wept silently, and under the floor, because she was asked to bow, a few tears fell. Alena's father was not happy with the news, but angry because every insult Alena's father has endured all this time, but the years have passed made Alena's father's heart bitter, and now all patience has been replaced with anger. He kicked Alena's knee so that Alena fell and knelt because Alena didn't expect to be kicked at all, so she used her palms to support her body so her head wouldn't hit the cement floor below her. "Why don't you work there from the start! Is this your reward as a child! Get out of my sight! Do the right thing and shame every CDA person who got dad out of there!" Alena's position is currently crouching, and when she answered, "Yes, fine, Dad," her father immediately grabbed Alena. Alena screamed, "Aaaaa!" her voice cut through the atmosphere, every horror of the unbearable pain in her every scream. "Let her go, my husband. Please let go of Alena; she's innocent. She's been trying her best all this time. She studies so hard, neglecting playtime. We must thank Alena for her tireless struggle. My husband, please don't beat Alena again." His wife's voice was caught in her throat like a small stone was choking there. Every second that passed was only bringing their souls to darkness. The man looked at Alena savagely. When Alena looked down, her father seemed to be looking at a big screen showing a reflection of him looking down, curled up, hiding his head from the blows and kicks that insulted him. Anger immediately bubbled up all over his father's body, and he quickly beat Alena out of his mind. "My husband! My husband! What did you do to our daughter!" "Father! Father! It hurts!" howled Alena; she couldn't stand the pain with her tiny body. Tears were running down her face; she suffered from her father's torture. Her father was still angry with his former tormentor when he had apologized for a mistake. He was tortured, beaten badly, now that it was all over. In her mind, her father saw that crouching beneath him were ruthless, cruel, and suddenly unwilling officers to budge. "Feel this!" said her father, tugging at her hair and then banging it several times on the floor, so blood pooled around them. Alena's strength remained as thin as a thread; even for breathing, she was still using it with the remaining energy in her body.
