Chapter 16

Miss Tina's face turned irritated, and she tightened her hands, annoyed with Mrs. Tina. Brenda. His eyes narrowed, and it was as if he wanted to beat her up right now. "Hurry up! If you guys are like slugs, then we'll be wiped out if we don't get to that bastard place in time!" Then only Mrs. It was just Brenda who sounded like, "If it weren't for that damn CDA who trampled my self-esteem, I definitely wouldn't want to play this kind of stupid game!" which could be heard by everyone there, including Alena. He just glanced down and observed them all. After the first mob left the place, the second mob came after. "Hey, look! I've seen this cave! Gosh! They're all so stupid; how could they not see that there's a cave here!" cried a man whose shoulders were still rising and falling to the rhythm of his breathing. "Yes, you are right! We finally found this cave!" shouted another, his voice sounding very satisfied. His friend beside him was also pleased, and his face lit up as he said, "Hey, what he said is true! This is the cave! Let's go inside!" Alena saw a co-worker fired from CDA two years earlier because she was caught sleeping with her boss. His boss's wife was the daughter of the Director of Criminal Crimes, so the woman was viciously strangled; if no security came right away when the boss's wife came to catch and throw a tantrum, then both her husband and the woman would have died. "Come on, let's go in," said another, and soon the six people had entered the first cave. Alena watched from outside, and she looked towards the forest, why the others had not yet come to this place. Did the others not manage to get to this place because the reeds up ahead were so high? Alena thought to herself. The reeds he had just crossed were as tall as his head. Thus, he had a little trouble walking the path to the first tree he saw. I have to get down, Alena thought, and just as she was about to descend the tree with her back turned, she heard a long scream and the roar of a beast from the cave in front of her. Alena's face turned stiff, with a pounding heart pounding in her chest. His hands trembled, and his legs ached so that he could no longer feel the footing on his feet, suddenly he fell from a tree branch with quite a height. Bruck! "Aaah!" Alena was in pain; she was writhing in pain, her hands protecting her head. However, his entire body was still suffering from quite severe pain. "Hey! He's here!" It was Abdul's voice, Alena thought; she glanced at her new friend, who had just arrived. Abdul immediately ran towards Alena. "Did you just fall?" asked Abdul, and he carefully helped Alena to get up from her place. "It's okay," said Elena. "This scarf has more or less helped me," Alena hurt again in a low voice. There were visible abrasions all over his arm. Samuel and Jonathan immediately ran towards him. "Are you alright?" asked Samuel, he saw that the trousers Alena was wearing were torn, and the scratches were visible on her long legs. Alena nodded her head, "Yes, I'm fine. Come on, and we'll find the right cave immediately." The old man who had just arrived looked at Alena and asked, "Were you waiting for us at the top of this tree?" They all saw which branch of the tree Alena had used to hide, and their faces crinkled, finding that the branch was quite tall. "Okay, I'm fine," Alena said, and she immediately said, "Don't go this way. This isn't a real cave." Abdul's forehead furrowed deeply, and he asked, "Why? Has anyone come in yet?" When they heard Alena say, "Yes, someone already came in here, and a lion ate them," the others immediately shouted, "What!" "A lion!" "Are they all dead!" Suddenly a rotten smell was inhaled in each of their senses of smell. Tension hangs over them. "Okay, let's find another cave." Samuel immediately walked through the first cave. After they had walked quite a distance, several groups were already waiting for them. "Hi, how are you guys?" asked Mrs. Brenda. "He's been here long enough; why don't they go into the cave in front of them?" whispered Alena to Samuel. Samuel smiled. "They want to make sure whether the cave is safe or not by baiting us into the cave." Jonathan, who heard Samuel's whisper, growled, "s**t!" "Why don't we go in together? We can combine our strength to find the right cave," joked Mrs. Brenda. He smirked. Samuel didn't like the smile on Mrs. Brenda. "Why don't you just go in, so we can know if this is the right cave or not," said Samuel. They stood gathered in front of the cave. "We just want to honor you and your prostitutes for eavesdropping on our conversation in the first cave," said Mrs. Brenda glanced at Alena. Alena stepped forward and pulled Mrs. Brenda angrily said, "Damn it! What do you want?" Mrs. Brenda burst out laughing; Alena had fallen into their trap; with swift movements, Mrs. Brenda immediately turned things around; she pulled Alena's shirt collar and pointed a knife at Alena's neck. The old man was amazed, his chest pounding fast, Mrs. Brenda had been her boss at CDA, and she already knew how vile she was. Several people behind Mrs. Brenda grinned and burst out laughing. "Let her go!" Samuel snapped, "Don't play with us! Let him go now!" Samuel and Jonathan walked briskly toward Mrs. Brenda, but Mrs. Brenda moved her feet back and forth back into the cave. Mrs. Brenda burst out laughing. "If you still want this harlot alive, then you must enter this cave." Mrs. Brenda threatened and slashed a bit of Alena's skin on her neck so that blood came out of Alena's neck, and Alena was helpless to endure the pain that hit her neck. "When I get out of this cave, I will look for you first! I will kill you until you regret that you were born in this world! Evil woman!" said Alena, her voice loud, but her chest tightened. His neck kept oozing fresh blood. "Let her go! You shameless woman!" said Abdul immediately walked quickly to Mrs. Brenda, but he was another young man soon in front of Mrs. Brenda who wanted to protect their boss. Hatred and anger were printed on their faces—an aura of hostility spread between them. "If you want your friend to be safe, you'd better follow our terms!" Samuel's face hardened, but he followed Mrs. Brenda. "Okay," he said; he walked into the cave. Jonathan and Abdul clenched their fists, about to protest, but they saw the pain on Alena's face, so they both followed the evil woman's will. The Old Man walked with trembling legs. He didn't want to walk in this cave, but the stakes were his young friend; he couldn't be selfish. Mrs. group. Brenda smiled happily. If this is the wrong cave, then the group of fools will fall first, thought each of Mrs.'s group. Brenda. This cave is damp, and smells terrible, thought Samuel; he had walked into the cave, beside him, Jonathan strolled, looking around. They are very alert. The lighting in the cave grew darker and darker until finally, they could no longer see what was around them. Just then, Samuel held Jonathan's hand, he signaled to Jonathan, and Jonathan, who was beside him, understood. Suddenly, Samuel saw from afar an unusual sound from inside the cave, and his stomach seemed to be torn apart at the sight of something walking towards them at this very moment. Unfortunately, one of Mrs. Brenda looked also at the figure strolling towards them, and the boy immediately shouted, "Run!" to make Mrs. Brenda turn and was about to run away. "Aaah!" Mrs. Brenda pushed Alena's body with her feet, causing Alena to fall beside her. The figure in the distance immediately ran and roared, the color of his skin was white, but in the cave's darkness, they saw dark gray. Samuel, Jonathan, and Abdul ran fast. Jonathan helps Alena to get out of the cave. The old man tried to adjust his footsteps so that he too would get out of this place, but his feet were blocked by one of Mrs. Brenda, causing her to trip and fall. Samuel turned around, and he helped the Old Man to get out of the cave. The white lion behind them was starving, he had not had any food for three days, and he wanted to eat whatever was in front of him. The Old Man tried with all his might to run fast, but he was too old for a game like this. He couldn't. The roar behind him made the hairs on his neck stand on end. Fear filled everyone's heart. The situation in the cave is so frantic. There was no light in the cave, and they didn't even know who was beside them. They screamed at each other and yelled, "Help! Help! Help!" The knife held by Mrs. Brenda accidentally stabbed the person in front of her; Mrs. Brenda didn't want to take the knife out of her hand, but instead, she had now stabbed one of the men. "Aaah!" shouted the stabbed woman, and one of the young men she had dated recognized her female voice. "Cindy!" shouted the youth; he stopped running and looked for where the source of the previous voice came from. When he heard the swearing coming from not far from him, he rushed towards the voice and was about to help the woman. "There's a knife in my back," the woman stammered. "God damn it!" shouted the young man; he immediately pulled the knife from the woman's body, and quickly he directly looked for Mrs. Brenda; he could recognize Mrs. Brenda in the dark. "You should be the one to die!" said the young man. Samuel ran while holding the Old Man's body. They ran from that place, out and out. It turned out that they had gone quite far when they walked into the cave. The roars of several lions behind them made their hearts pound. The smell of blood filled the cave behind them. "Come on, let's get out of this cave immediately," said Samuel, running away from the lion's pursuit. The angry lion's voice echoed throughout the cave, making their faces stiffen and their hearts pop out on the spot. "Aaah!" Someone has been pounced on! Another lion chased the prey running in front of him with his claws; the lion jumped and lunged at the people in front of him; everyone screamed, screaming in fear. "Aaah! Aaah!" The voice kept screaming until they could no longer scream. Some of the participants had died there and became hungry's lions. The smell of fresh meat filled their nostrils, and they were sick to death at the thought of their friend being eaten alive by a hungry lion. There was a bright light ahead; Samuel quickened his footsteps, the Old Man was still beside him, Samuel continued to help the Old Man get them out of place safely. Nausea and dizziness filled their heads. A few more steps, their breaths were ragged, and they had exhausted a lot of energy. This situation was so scary, and Samuel's eyes were already dripping with sweat that kept dripping down his face. He had to squint his eyes, and... "Careful!" Elena shouted. He grabbed Samuel's hand, then shouted, "Hurry up! The lion is still behind us!" The thought of the lion still chasing made Samuel's legs so weak, but he still had to get out safely with the Old Man by his side, so he took a breath, tried to catch his breath, then ran fast. "Come on, old man," said Samuel. Someone has managed to get out of the mouth of the cave. It's Abdul! cried Samuel in his mind. He accelerated his run and finally came out of the mouth of the cave. "Finally, we're safe," Samuel stuttered, and he immediately fell to the ground, followed by the also exhausted Old Man.
