The door opened, and Samuel saw Haykal from a distance Caroline had determined to see. He couldn't help but obey what his ex-wife ordered him to do. The two guards had moved away from the door, and there stood Samuel and Haykal. When Samuel saw Haykal's figure, he was there. His eyes quickly recognized that it was Haykal. He saw the color of Haykal's skin; it was pale, as if there was no more blood running down his face. Samuel's face stiffened. His eyes are closed, usually even if Haykal doesn't do anything, Haykal will still look up, only his eyes indicate that Haykal is alive, but now his eyes are closed, he is calm, he seems sleeping.
