CHAPTER 2 The Mystery Guy

“Ahh, my head.”

I woke up from a deep sleep; I think so, and my head felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer. Where am I and how I could be here?

Elli woke up and looked around, found herself in an unknown place and between woods.

It would scare any other normal girl to find herself in such a place, but Elli is not normal according to her parents. She frowns, finding herself lying on piles of dry leaves and her beautiful white frilled netted frock was soiled.

She found herself in a small hut filled with dry grasses and leaves.

I clearly remember, I got out of John’s black BMW, moved towards my house, I pushed open the door but it was locked.

I called my little sister, who was responsible to open the door for me tonight after she took an enormous gift for such small work; she didn’t pick my call.

“Damn that.................. she slept without opening the door and now she wasn't even picking up my call.”

I called her several times, but the result was the same, I just want to get in and strangle her and demand her my whole money which she took to buy a pair of diamond earrings for herself only to open the door.

But I can’t do anything other than curse her.

I was already dizzy, I wasn’t able to stand anymore I wandered towards woods which are very near to my home.

I found it thrilling, I always dream of being stuck in the woods, losing my way, and a handsome prince would come to my rescue and help me out from the woods.

How exciting will this be if many wild animals will surround me and abruptly a hunter appears to rescue me?

How about the werewolf will surround me and suddenly their alpha will appear and asked them not to touch me because I am his mate?

In order to look for some thrill and excitement I moved towards the wood, the scene I always dream about are from movies scenes where I always imagine myself at the place of the poor little heroine who was bullied and beaten by several people walked in the woods with all the disappointed from her life and got her real-life prince as a savior.

However, my situation is not like theirs still my little sister Marg is enough to make my life a living hell.

Today I am here just because of her, so my plight is almost the same.

While thinking all this, Elli didn’t realize she moved deep inside the woods. Suddenly, she heard some growling sound and realized that the movie scene is really just to enjoy on the screen, but if we try to implicate it in real life, it will be horrible.

The next moment here in face of her two wolves whose eyes were shinning and they are gnashing their teeth, they are around 20 meters away from her but she could feel the goosebumps all over her body.

Thinking nothing further she turned around and started running but he can imagine that wolves were running behind her. She can hear their growl.

“Oh god why these wolves are following me, dear wolf what do you want from me those heroines in movies were poor and helpless and lost all hope from life, comes in front of you to die, I am not like them, I only have an irritating sister that’s it, rest I don’t want to die.”

Elli was blabbering absurd under the breath while running she turned around and next moment fell on the floor by tripping on something and fell on the grassy ground of the woods.

Elli was horrified, turned, and saw the wolves stopped near her, the first time she was calling herself an i***t for this idea of coming inside the wood.

It scared her. Wolves were about to attack her when suddenly they took two steps back, hung their top head down, and there comes a pair of black shining bright leather shoes and a pair of manly feet wrapped in white pants.

Elli lifts her head and saw the tall, handsome, well-built figure dressed in a white suit smiling towards her. He stretched his right hand to her, which was stuffed in a pocket, but before Elli was able to hold his hand she swoons.

“Damn it, where am I, and where did that handsome guy disappear? How will I go back to my home?

If mom and dad happened to know about me not being at home, then what will be the scene I just can’t imagine, oh god please show me the way home.”

“Come, I will take you back to your home safely.”

Elli, who just stood up from piles of wilted leaves and dusting her exquisite white dress from both hands, a seductive male voice entered her ear. She turned around and found that handsome white dressed guy in front of her standing at the door of the hut.

“You?” Elli asked in confusion.

“Come.” Despite answering her, he asked her to come out.

Elli silently comes out because right now she just wants to get home before her parents find out that she is out of the home late at the night, but it still confused her.

“Who are you and what are you doing here? And where are those wolves who were chasing me?” While walking beside the handsome guy, Elli being talkative fired so many questions.

“They disappear.” He replied with just two words answer.

“Huh?” His answer confused Elli.

“But who are you and what are you doing here,” she repeated her question but then despite waiting for his answer she started talking further, “You know when you appeared in front of those wolves and they took their steps back I felt like they were some werewolf and the moved back because you are their alpha.”

She was like talking to herself and she laughs loudly.

“What the?” Handsome frowns and mummers by her absurd blabber.

“I have a pistol with me, probably they smelled it.” Guy took out his silver and bronze color pistol and shows it to Elli.

Elli’s eyes become wide in surprise, “Oh wow you are a hunter, that’s why you were in wood at such a late hour.”

Elli said it in an excited tone and the guy slaps his forehead mentally seeing Elli’s IQ level.

“I have a wood house near about, I was a passerby,” Guy replied and break her thought in a few words.

“Oh,” Elli’s excitement subsided, but she continued her question hour.

“Oh, where is your wood house? And is that hut was also yours where you brought me? And where is your house in town?”

Elli once again fired many questions together, but the guy didn’t seem in the mood to answer any of her questions. He asked her about her address a bit sternly.

“Could you tell me where is your house so I can send you there?”

Elli suddenly realized that she has to go home. She told him her address and within a few minutes; they reached Cooper's villa.

Reaching in front of the door, suddenly Elli started sobbing. She recalled that the door is locked and how she will get in.

“What happens?” Guy asked politely, seeing her sobbing cutely.

“I went to the late-night party informing nobody, my little sister was answerable to open the door for me tonight but she fell asleep without opening the door, neither door is open nor she is picking my call, now how will I get it?”

By saying this Elli started crying hysterically and the guy couldn’t see a pretty girl crying said very politely.

“Shh, calm down let me see if I can open it,” Guy said while rubbing his forehead by right hand’s index finger.

Elli’s tears shedding eyes suddenly brimmed with a ray of hope. He brought the guy in with herself by the climbing boundary wall of the villa and took her near the main door.

Guy look towards the door and said peacefully, “Door is opened.”

It surprised Elli how can he say that, so she pushed the door, and it was open.

“Are you some magician how did you open it because I clearly remember that when I came here first it was closed,” Elli said in bewilderment.

“No, I am not, I just got it open because the slight light was brimming from the frame of the door which was proving it to be open.”

Elli’s mouth hung wide. Either he is very smart or she is absolutely dumb, whatever it is he really helped her today.

“Thanks a lot for helping me, I am Elizabeth Cooper, and you?” 

Elli said while stretching her hand towards him for a handshake.

“Sylvester Lockwood.”

Guy said and shakes hand with her, and Elli felt a tingling sensation. Before she could realize or ask anything, Sylvester immediately said bye and left from that place at the speed of the jet.

Elli shrugs her thoughts and walked towards her room with silent steps.
