Zoe- Present Day Ever experienced that disorienting feeling upon waking up, when you're well-rested but can't quite gauge the time from the light in your room? Is it still night, or has morning arrived? Or could it be that I've managed to sleep through the entire day? That's precisely the sensation coursing through me as I fumble around for my phone. The absence of any other clock in my room has never been a concern until now. In a hurry, I slip into some clothes, ignoring the pleasurable ache in my thighs and the tenderness in between them.
