I start the investigation that evening.
Not through official channels. I do not go to the security team or the legal department or any of the twelve people who would immediately understand what I was looking at if I pulled the records through normal routes. I do it myself, with Rhys, in my private office after the building has emptied out, with the access logs pulled directly from the system administrator level and no notification sent to anyone.
