"Let all who read this know the valor and courage of those who fought and fell for the Maharajah. We sought the power of the Sands of Time... Most only found death... myself among them. But the Mask of the Wraith gave me a second chance to travel back through time and change my fate." The Mask of the Wraith is an artifact that allows the user to become the Sand Wraith to rewrite their fate. That Mask would would give me second chance. I took it up. I put it on. I felt like I would feel darkness in me. Shadows came around. I felt myself changing into shadow-like. Then I realised it was me at top I saw. I runned. After while I got to Sacrificial chamber. There I saw Kaileena and Shandee talking. - I am sorry. I have failed you , Empress. - He reached the island? -Worse. He found one of our time portals.Hes here in our time. She slaps her. -How dare you say it aloud in front of me. You should have died for me. -Im not giving my life for this foolishness. I'd you want to change your fate, then do it yourself. -After all I have done. How can you say it. They took hold of each other's arms. I saw myself down. As I runned on moving machinations. I then runned on door and climbed. The Mask of the Wraith is an artifact that allows the user to become the Sand Wraith to rewrite their fate. The Mask of the Wraith has the ability to transform its user into the Sand Wraith, an identity that becomes separate from their original selves, though they maintain everything that makes them who they are. The Mask of the Wraith does not grant the ability to manipulate time like to the Dagger of Time. Mask of Wraith creates a parallel copy of the original timeline and can grant the ability of 2 copies of the same person existing as different entities. The Mask of Wraith only detaches from the face, when only one of the copies of the person survives, hence fulfilling its purpose and returning to the original place automatically. It does restore low reserves of the Sands of Time, however they are used. Another ability of the Mask of the Wraith is that it allows the wearer to exist at the same time with their past selves, effectively making them the "doppelganger". The consequence of wearing the Mask of the Wraith, is that the wearer cannot remove the mask until their counterpart is killed or dies. The implies there are 2 timeline. One where the Maharajah found the Mask of Wraith before dying and the other where Maharajah appears as the Sand Wraith himself and his past self dies. Maharajah (as Sand Wraith) appears in the past when he had just arrived. In this new timeline, instead of finding the Mask of Wraith, his past self finds the Hourglass. During the Maharajah's journey on the Island of Time in this new past timeline searching for the Artifacts of Time, several of his men were killed by the Island's traps or inhabitants. Only the Maharaja managed to reach the Hourglass of Time, but was killed by what appeared to be a Keeper. By some twist fate his Sand Wraith self was there back in time to kill the figure that killed his past self and take the Hourglass as his prize. When the Prince kills the Empress of Time, he inadvertently creates the Sands of Time; something he was trying to prevent. Just as he loses hope, he discovers a mural that describes the tale of a man who used the Mask of the Wraith to change his fate. He realizes the Mask could help him do the same. Using it, he becomes the Sand Wraith, the creature he saw all across the Island of Time. But realizing what he had done to create the Sands, he allows his "other" self to be killed by the Dahaka. This not only prevents the creation of the Sands, but also allows him to remove the mask and undo his mistake by dragging the Empress into the present to kill her there. By no other means can the mask be removed unless the users "other" self dies so that the wearer of the mask takes his place in the timeline. I have no time for this. Shade was killed. Then later Mask took off. When I pounced back Dahaka closed in. She used force of Time to take swords again. -Im sorry , Prince, but only one of us can change fate today. -He runner to throne. She followed. He got behind her by vault. And pushed her. She was trough portal. I then used portal myself. I climbed and runned. Walls used to run and vault. Until I got to the Sacred Caves, on the floating dias. I vaulted when i jumped. Kaileena was created when the Gods created time itself. She is the essence of the Sands of Time, and an inadvertent byproduct of Gods actions. As a result, she wields the power of the timeline itself. When Kaileena was killed by the Dahaka, the guardian of the timeline, the Sands of Time were released once more, which were subsequently trapped inside the Hourglass of Time to protect the world from its ability to corrupt all life. Stories of her power reached as far as Persia and India. The hourglass would later be discovered by a Maharajah from India, who traveled to the Island of Time after hearing of the Sands of Time and the Artifacts of Time. Eventually, the Prince's actions in Azad, which saw the release and eventual recapture of the Sands of Time, set him on his path to change the timeline itself to prevent own death at the hands of the Dahaka. She created a an army of Sand Creatures, chief among them Shahdee, through experimentation. Some, such as Raiders, were created with the bodies of men who were killed after being lured to the Island of Time. She ordered Shahdee and her army to stop the Prince at all costs, and went so far as to threaten to kill her should she fail her mission despite, as Shahdee pointed out, knowing the outcome was doomed anyway. When she later learned of Shahdee's failure, she assaults her servant after Shahdee decides to stop helping Kaileena change her fate altogether. -I know what you have seen. What you think you have seen in the timeline. -Then you know I have no choice. -There is always choice, Kaileena. -Then I choose to live, and for you to die. She and I fought. The Second Battle The second battle occurs in the Sacred Caves, on the floating dias where you fought the Griffon. It is advisable to take the the Light Sword or the Hockey Stick (the latter is preferable, as this fight gives a lot of damage and we don't need more from the sword), as the environment doesn't help us to bounce off walls or spin on columns, so we have to make the most of the openings we get to attack on Kaileena. Her attack pattern doesn't differ so much, but this time she teleports and kicks three times, uses sand twisters instead of the Imperial Guards (The former does a lot more damage than the latter too), and also uses slow time. It is advisable to keep your sand tanks full and avoid squandering them before the fight. Its better to do the charge attack when you reach the doorway to the dais, so that you go in with your weapons drawn. As the cutscene ends, block, and after she finishes the three aerial kicks, move back, but stay near the end of the dais. After she finishes her combo, move into attack her, move back after she blocks, block her vertical s***h, move back to avoid her second combo, hit her again. She uses slow time now. Hang on the edge of the dais and edge onto directly in front of her. As your slow time ends, move back to near the edge of the dias. She will teleport and attack, and will continue her combos and slow time pattern and you continue your pattern. When her life bar reduces to three-quarters, she flies up, and sends out sand twisters, three in total, one by one. Keep on moving, but not uni-directionally, and dodge the twisters at a ninety-degree angle/perpendicularly. It is almost useless to hang on the ledge, as the twisters even move out of the dais. As each twister dies down, you will get some sands, but only if on or nearby the dais, as it can go far away. The twisters take off a large chunk from your life bar, so be careful. As Kaileena drops down, hit her, but if she uses slow time, roll to the end of the dias. Be careful not to get hit, and hang until it gets over, shimmy towards the Empress, slow down time, climb up, and hit her again. As her life-bar reduces to half, another cutscene occurs. As with a slight risk, you can avoid using slow time to hit her so that you save a sand tank. After the cutscene ends, block, and move back to the end of the dais (the Prince moves a lot forward in the cutscene), and fight her. With one-two hits, she flies up again and sends her twisters again. As they are slightly faster this time, slow time is recommended, but not absolutely necessary to dodge them. I striked my sword on her belly. -Im sorry, but I must end this. She said at last. -I am glad to be with you my prince. Then she died. Walls broke. Dahaka was coming. -No no no. How is this possible. Dahaka broke wall entirely. He jumped on diss. -The sands are here. Not in the Hourglass. Dahaka raised her up. Used magic and she disappeared. -He turned on me. I bowed. -What do you want? His tentacles came and took hold of his body. But the amulet came up. -The amulet. Last relic. Dahaka took it. Then he disappeared. Could it be... I have changed my fate.
