I cleared my throat. I knew if I didn't my voice would have that torn sound that would reveal my disturbance. Revealing my troubles to Cahl was like throwing blood into shark-infested water and then taking a dip. “You choose your timing oddly.” His wolf eyes speared mine. “I'm not choosing anything, Elizabeth. We’re stuck in enemy territory. The scent of danger burns my nose to the point of getting a headache, and I see you undress with gestures that fascinate me. I don't know how you manage to create such a marvel, but with each movement, and piece of clothing that falls, I feel my body pulsate.” My mouth suddenly went dry. “Pulsate?” I repeated softly, my eyes lost in his. “Yes. I realize it’s a strange image. I look at you, naked except for a bra, and I tremble. Isn't that weird?”
