Don Felipe was sitting in a wheelchair, looking into the distance. He didn’t notice their approach.
“Daddy, I’m here. How are you?” Jaiden said happily, hugging his father.
“Son, is it really you? My son’s back.” Senior Felipe said tearfully.
“Daddy, I’m sorry I took so long. Sorry, I worried you again,” Jaiden whispered.
“You have company?…Carlo.. Jiro, it’s you.” Senior Felipe said happily.
“Mano po, Uncle.” The two said happily.
“God bless you.” Senior Felipe said with a smile.
“Mano po, Sir.” Mira said shyly.

“Are you the woman who almost kidnapped? Miss Guevara, right?” Sen. Felipe asked, looking at the young woman.
“Yes, Sir. I’m Princess Mira Guevara.” Mira answered shyly.
“So, you’re the child of Jerome and Lycha? How are you, dear?” Senior Felipe asked with a smile.
“Yes, Dad, she’s a…”
“I’m not talking to you, Jaiden.” Senior Felipe said authoritatively.
“Come here, dear, sit here so I can see you.”
“Okay, sir,” Mira said hesitantly, looking at Jaiden before sitting down.
“You’ve grown up so much and you’re so beautiful. I saw the news; how is your dad?” Senior Felipe asked.
“I don’t know, Sir.” Mira said sadly.
“Hay…why didn’t he find out the true nature of the people he trusted? But don’t call me Sir; your dad and I were close friends. But our paths separated because of an unexpected tragedy.” Senior Felipe said sadly.
“Po, so you're really dad’s friend?” Mira asked in surprise.
“Why don’t you remember, when you were a child, Jerome used to bring you here, and you’d play with Jaiden? You and Jade were so happy.” Senior Felipe said with a teasing smile.
“Jade!?…Jade, huh,” Mira said angrily, rolling her eyes at Jade.
“Mira, why?…your eyes are so hurtful. If they could hurt, I’d be dead.” Jaiden asked in surprise.
“Nothing. If you make a promise…”
“Aha…I know.” Jaiden said with a laugh.
“Daddy…that name is for Mira only. I promised her she's the only one who can call me that name.” Jaiden said seriously.
“What name?…Jade!?“ Senior Felipe said with a laugh.
“Daddy.”
“Exactly!…you’re really that child. The little girl whom Jaiden promised to marry.” Senior Felipe said with a teary smile.
“Dad, what promise to marry?” Jaiden asked in surprise.
“Jaiden, you were just a child when you promised Mira that she’s the only one who can call you Jade. And also you promised her she will be your only bride, that you’ll marry her in the future, no matter what.” Senior Felipe explained, laughing.
Senior Felipe laughed so hard that he got sick.
“Daddy…daddy! Daddy!?“ Jaiden said worriedly.
“What’s happening?” Carlo asked.
“I can’t breathe.” He said, stammering, then fainted.
“Jaiden, what happened?” Noel asked, running towards them.
“Uncle, he got sick. Daddy,…Dad…no…please wake up!.., “he cried, hugging his father.
“Bro, don’t panic. Let’s take Uncle to the hospital; he’ll be okay.” Jiro said.
“Move aside. Doesn’t he have heart problems?” Mira asked.
“Yes, that’s right, his doctor is abroad, so he hasn’t had his surgery yet,” Noel explained.
“Cardiac arrest…!?.“
“What, cardiac arrest!?“ Carlo said in surprise.
“Let’s take your dad to the hospital, Jade; his condition is critical!” Mira explained to Jaiden, applying first aid.
“But his doctor is still abroad. Who will operate on him?” Noel asked.
“I will.” Mira said firmly.
“You?…“Noel asked hesitantly.
“Uncle, please trust her;she’s a doctor, and that’s her major.” Jiro explained.
“Mira, please, save my dad. I’ll do everything you want and I’ll give you anything you want…please save my dad..“ Jaiden pleaded, crying.
“Don’t worry, your dad will be okay.” Mira said.
When they arrived at the hospital, they immediately checked Senior Felipe’s condition and found that his condition was risky.
“Jade, you need to sign these papers so we can start the operation on Uncle. Don’t worry, I’ll be the one operating on him.” Mira said reassuringly.
“Do whatever you need to do for Daddy.” Jaiden said, crying, hugging Mira.
“Please don’t cry. I’ll do everything I can; help us in prayer.” Mira said before leaving.
