“Why are you suddenly not saying anything?” Rachel asked James. “I'm going to be your vice president right? We are going to work hand in hand for the betterment of the company right?”
James cleared his throat, “right.. Rachel” he gave an obvious fake smile. “Right!”
“Good.” She stood up and walked to him. “So what are we going to do with Jane when she's done doing whatever we need her to do?” She asked, her hands placed on his shoulders, and looking at him deep in the eyes.
James blinked continuously, trying to avoid her gaze. “Till then Rachel, till then. Let's focus on what's more important for now.”
Rachel nodded, “alright, make sense. Is there anything you need me to do?” She asked, hands still on his shoulders.
