Elijah's Point of View
I pace in front of the window, my phone clutched tightly in my hand as I wait for news.
"Do you want some coffee?"
Kathryn's voice comes from behind me and I shake my head.
"Elijah. Say something."
Kathryn says softly as she steps up next to me and reaches for my hand.
"Are you okay?"
I turn to look at her, and I see the concern in her eyes, but before I can speak, my phone rings in my hand.
Detective Ruiz, the name flashes across my screen.
I answer the call immediately, putting my phone on speaker, so Kathryn can hear as well.
"Hello, detective? Did you find anything?"
"Yes, we did. We found the SVU in Stephen Caldwell’s driveway. We searched the entire car and we found something. A toy. The same little blue truck that Colton was holding in the video. S
