My phone rings on my nightstand and I make my way towards it, still brushing my hair.
I see Amy's name flashing on the screen and I put the call on speaker phone.
"Hey Ames."
"Hey! I've been thinking about you all morning. You feeling any better today?"
"Yes, a little, thank you."
"So, did you take the test?"
I sigh, pulling my hair into a ponytail.
"Yes. I did."
"And?"
Amy asks impatiently and a small smile tugs at the corners of my mouth.
"It was negative..."
"Oh. Wow. Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure, Amy. I know how to take a pregnancy test."
"You know, sometimes..."
