Kathryn's Point of View
Amy smiles as she watches Colton slide, sipping on her iced coffee.
"I'm glad you suggested this. I've missed the little monster."
She says, without turning to me and I nod, running a hand through my hair.
"I know... He's missed you too. It's just been a bit crazy with everything going on right now."
I say apologetically, and she turns to me, giving me a small smile.
"I know sweetie. I didn't mean anything by it... But speaking of which... How is it going? Really?"
She asks, and I hear the concern in her voice. I give her a reassuring smile.
"Actually... It's been going really well. Some days are still a little chaos, some are magic, some still have me extremely tense... But mostly it's been good."
My mind wanders back to the conversation I had with Elijah
