Kathryn's Point of View
I pull my car up to Amy's house, my heart still pounding loudly in my chest. I switch of my car and sit there for a few minutes. I take a deep breath, then I grab my bag and head for the door.
I hesitate for a few seconds before knocking on the door, wondering if I am doing the right thing.
The door opens before I can even finish the knock.
"Kathryn! Hey, I was just about to call you. Are you okay?"
Amy asks concerned as she steps aside, letting me into the house.
"No... Not really..."
I whisper softly, and Amy closes the door behind me before wrapping her arm around my shoulders and leading me towards the couch.
"Okay, start from the beginning. Tell me what happened?"
