Faye – POV
"Where are we?" I asked my mom as we stood in a place that felt unfamiliar. My gaze was drawn to an old, rugged manor.
"Let's go inside," my mom whispered. Suddenly, she collapsed. I caught her just in time, and with Nicole's help, we managed to get inside. Amy, Lavender, and Linda followed us into the dusty, cobweb-covered manor.
After my mom used too much of her power, she fainted. Nicole quickly cleaned a bed with her magic, and we laid my mom there. Then we all left the room.
"What is this place?" Nicole looked around, her voice tinged with fear.
"It's so creepy," Linda murmured.
"How did your mom use teleportation magic?" Lavender was curious.
"I'm not sure. I need to ask my mom the same thing," I admitted, feeling a bit lost as we continued to explore.
