I woke up to the sound of Ardent’s voice. "Daddy, you're awake..." I smiled, recognizing Precious's soft little murmur.
I opened my eyes and felt tiny hands patting my chest. That means the twins were up too. I laughed, "Hello, babies!"
"Mommy!" Now that I was awake, Precious started chattering away. She hugged me tight and showered me with kisses. "We missed you, Mommy!"
"Oh, we missed you too! I missed you guys so much!" I hugged all three of them at once, letting them smother me in affection.
"My babies are so sweet..."
"What about me?" Ardent asked, pouting and looking for some love too. Precious immediately jumped over to hug her dad, but the twins wouldn't let go of me, keep those kisses coming.
