Sunset Love 4

238 Words
As the reception got underway, Emily found herself gravitating towards Jack. They danced together, laughed together, and shared stories about their lives. Emily felt like she'd known Jack her whole life, yet she was also discovering new things about him. She was struck by his kindness, his sense of humor, and his passion for his work. As the night wore on, Emily realized that she was having the time of her life. She felt alive, happy, and carefree. And as she looked into Jack's eyes, she knew that she was falling for him, hard. As the night wore on, Emily found herself lost in Jack's eyes. They danced under the stars, their bodies swaying to the music. The air was filled with laughter and chatter, but all Emily could focus on was the man in front of her. As the clock struck midnight, Jack took Emily's hand and led her outside. They walked along the beach, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. The sky was filled with stars, and Emily felt like she was in a dream. "I'm so glad I came back to this town," Emily said, turning to Jack. "Why's that?" Jack asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Because I got to see you again," Emily replied, her voice barely above a whisper. Jack's face lit up with a smile. "I'm glad you did too," he said, taking a step closer to Emily.
