The dream

Jade It’s dark, too dark. I can hardly see anything. The only thing I can make out is the flicker of light. I walk toward that light, and it brings me back to the bedroom. The only thing weird about this bedroom is that it’s the bedroom back at my home in the blue rise pack. I haven’t been to blue rise in such a long time, and I wonder why I would be back here. I can see images of my younger self, the days when I would cry after the boys in the pack bullied me, including the days I wished I had a different body type. This room always brings back old memories, memories I have so desperately wanted to bury yet they keep resurfacing. But this dream does little to spare me from that.
