Hours before meeting Maddox in the forest,
The world is black. All I can see is black. One thing I know is the world keeps spinning and it forces me to close my eyes shut. Only when the spinning stops do I manage to open my eyes once more. It takes time for my vision to adjust and focus. Slowly, light comes and I make out where we are. It's a cave, but not just any kind of cave. The inside has a cage in it. Axar and I had landed in the very cage before he teleported out of it, leaving me alone in the cage.
This was really thought out, and I doubt if he planned all this on his own. I sigh, and when I turn around, I see that I am not the only one in this cage. There is a lady with me. I am guessing she must be my age or older than me by a year or two. Her shimmering green eyes catc
