"My sweet Sarah, why are you crying?" "I never thought I could love somebody so much. My heart hurts from wanting you so bad." "I am right here, if you would like I can have you move in with me, I could do everything just for you." "I don't think you understand what that was for me." He now looked confused. "I was a virgin; you were the first guy to take that from me." He looked shocked, as if I was the first virgin he had nailed. "I promise to never leave your side. Matter of fact, when the time comes, I will marry you, Sarah." "Woah, we just linked up. Gotta give me some time, sugar." "Sugar?" "Well, I know not of your name, I must at least make a nickname." "Fair enough." I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep. When I awoke, he was gone. I knew that would happen, but I wanted more from him. I am in my prime, but I fell for him hard. It was Monday now, and it was still early. I took a shower and got ready for work. I made it with time to spare. "Sarah, follow me." "Hey Marsha." "You will begin here for your training and then you can make your choice." "What choice exactly?" "Of staying in the office all day or writing from home." "Sweet." Marsha sat me down in my office and I began my training videos. I notice a pat on my back, I looked up to see Marsha. "Honey, are you going to work through lunch?" "s**t, I let the time slip away from me." As I was walking out to order lunch, I notice a text from an unknown number. Hello, my sweet Sarah. Just seeing how your first day of work is. MM I replied back: Hey, Sugar. Things are great here, almost worked through lunch. I missed you this morning, I have been thinking, maybe a proper date? He responded Of course, I will pick you up at eight tonight. Wear something nice. I put my phone away and finished my lunch. I walked back to my station where I noticed another pink rose. My new beau was watching me as I worked. As I finished my work, I noticed my eyes were drooping. I must stay awake for my date. I popped a few caffeine pills and finished my water. I made it to my car when they began to work. I managed to get home safe. I took a quick shower and put on a red silk dress with matching panties. I wanted tonight to be special. I was going to accept the offer for me to move in with him. As I came out of the shower, Lana catches me. "Hey, your new beau wanted me to pass a message. He is running late and wants you to meet him at the Royal Coffee Shop in Italy Square. Geeze Sarah, you caught a good one. That place is super expensive." "Oh, is it? I hadn't noticed." I grabbed my keys. "Don't wait up for me, Lana." I closed the door as she looked sad now. I was running late as well so I called him. No answer. He must be in the shower or something. I got to the coffee shop, but he was nowhere to be found. I called him again, still no answer. I knew this was too good to be true. As I was walking back to my car is when I saw them. He was kissing another girl. I hopped in my car and drove home in tears. I barged into the house and ran to my room, locking it behind me. I wanted to be alone. What I thought would be a beautiful beginning, turned sour in mere moments. Those moments turned into hours of painful tears. I wasn't lying when I had told him that I had never loved anyone so much in my life. He promised me to stay by my side, yeah right. He was another shmuck trying to get laid. It was probably now three in the morning. I was looking out the window with wet eyes. "Sarah, you never showed. I was worried sick about..." "About me? When were you worried? Ah, you must have worried about me while your lips were locked with that dirtbag." I turned around for him to see my eyes; the pain he had brought me. "Sarah, let me explain." "No, you don't deserve my love after that." "That was my Ex-girlfriend. She wanted to talk, had you stayed moments longer. You would have seen that I pushed her away." "I bet you did, like you did with me?" "No, I would never." "Then what took so long for you to come here?" "I was telling her how amazing you are. She didn't realize I was taken." "So, she won't try it again?" "No, sweet Sarah. You are my one and only." "I was going to tell you about some good news prior to her kissing you." "What is going on dear?" "I am taking your offer about me moving in with you. I have been crying for hours now. I wanted you to be the one." "Sarah, I am so ecstatic. I would want nothing more. I love you." He brought me in and kissed my salty lips. We laid in the bed once more and he held me while I slept. As I woke the next morning, he was still holding me. He never left my side last night. I knew that I loved him, but can I trust him so easily now? I sipped on my coffee as I watched my cartoons. For a moment, this was the marriage I had dreamed of. I finished my coffee and hopped in the shower. I wanted this for my future. Maybe I could give him another chance. As I was washing the shampoo out of my hair, I felt his sweet body behind me. It wasn’t s****l at all, just him holding me and washing me clean of past regrets. He carried me to the bed and went down on one knee. "This doesn’t have to be rushed, we can wait until you're ready. This is my promise to you that I will never leave your side."
