Chapter Nine-Ryders POV

---FIVE DAYS LATER---
Its been five days since Talamh left, and its driving me insane. My wolf has stopped talking to me, and all he does is pace in the back of my mind. I'm currently in my office. I've been in here since she left. There's not a space in here that's not ruined. The second day she was gone, I had felt a burning pain in my back, right bellow my shoulder blade. I knew that the injury wasn't mine too. I haven't eaten either. I can hardly stand being around anyone. My mother is the only one that can even come near me. She was the only one that truly liked Talamh when she was still in the pack. I hear a knock on the door, and I let out a loud growl. The door opens and my mom is standing there with a large smile on her face. But there was something off about it.
"What? What is it?" I ask her nervously.
"Sh-she's back. Bu-but..."
I was already walking to the door, but froze when she said but. "But what? Whats wrong with her?" I yell. She flinches and says,
"No-nothings wrong, but she... she's...covered in blood. Her eyes are...red."
I give her a confused look. "what do you mean her eyes are red?" I ask. "Go see for yourself. She's almost to the tree line." She didn't have to tell me twice.
I pushed my way past her and ran down the stairs. I threw open the front door just as she emerged from the woods. Her entire body was covered in blood. Some of it was dry, and some of it was fresh. I started forward, but stopped in my tracks at the largest growl I'd ever heard. A wave of power and dominance hit me and I stumbled back. After I regained balance, I realized that the growl and the power, were coming from my mate. I slowly looked from her feet, and up her body to her eyes. They were completely red. I let out a small gasp and took a half a step back. The growling stopped, and the wave vanished. I watched in horror as Talamh dropped to the ground and started to shake violently. I heard bones crackling and she shifted into her wolf form. Only Something was wrong. She was tall. Really tall. I let out a gasp when I saw her eyes. One eye was red, the other had a green iris, and the white of her eye wasn't white, it was blue.
Her eyes found mine and she spoke, "Where is my brother?" I open my mind link and find Nikolia's mind. 'I need you to stop whatever you're doing and come outside.' I tell him. He links back, 'Be right there.' I close the link and nod to my mate. " He'll be out soon." She nods her head and sits on her back haunches. A few moments later The door opens and Nikolia walks out. As soon as he sees her, he freezes.'Are you happy now Nik? Are you happy that your stupid prophecy is true?" She says. His eyes widened when he gasps. "Th-then that means yo- you're with his child." He says. I give him a confused look. "Prophecy?" He glances at me but says nothing.
" Yes, I'm with that awful hybrids baby. But thankfully that old bastard dead." She says with a glance at me. Nikolia lets out a hiss and I watch in awe and horror as his eyes become red.
"That BASTARD is my father. So show a little respect." In the blink of an eye, Talamh was human again. "You didn't get r***d. I DID. You weren't beat every day for no reason. I WAS. You didn't get whipped once a week in the same spot. I DID. If you lived my life, you would've died already. You have NO IDEA what happened to me while I was there. So, I WILL NOT SHOW RESPECT FOR THAT BLOOD SUCKING LEACH!!!" She screams. Nik is red in the face in anger and at the words, he says next, I'm surprised he's not dead.
"You know what? My dad was right. You are a b***h and a worthless slut! He should've killed you the day you were born." Faster than I could process, Talamh was in front of Nik.
" You know, I really wished he had. Then I wouldn't have had to put up with all the pain. He made it clear that I wasn't wanted. I tried suicide, I got beat. I say one wrong word, I got whipped. I tried running away, and I got r***d. So yea, I really wish he did end my life when I was born."
I was stunned. She said that so calmly too. The next thing I know, she's biting the neck of her brother. Blood pours down his neck, and when Talamh steps back, blood covers her mouth. She lifts Nikolia up and walks to the edge of the trees. " I hear-by banish you from this pack. Don't ever come back. I don't want to ever hear you name again. Got it?" She says. He whimpers and nods. She
drops him to the ground, and gives him a bone crunching kick to the gut. He quickly gets up and starts to run/limp into the trees.
She turns to me and says in her native languge," Ní thaitin liom riamh mar sin féin. " ( I never liked him anyway.)
Then She turned, wand walked into the house.
