The nobles don’t know what to do. How should they deal with this? Laura doesn’t even have a maid. The man’s head began to throb. He may be a head of their noble house, but he isn’t as popular or well-known as the others. His political position is very low.
He inherited the title from his brother, who happened to be Laura’s father. Even so, his brother wasn’t very active as well. When he took over the position, it was the same for him. He rarely voices out an opinion. Others are more assertive and he usually has the same opinion as they are, anyway. What’s the point of speaking the same thing? It would only be seen as annoying as it’s unoriginal.
