Her eyes widened at his pronouncement. It felt official when he said it like that.
“Speaking of which, there might be a celebration within a week or maybe the following week. Only a simple one, here in the palace. The purpose would be to officially introduce you as my intended. Thanks to your help, I’m more confident that the council would agree to our request.”
Her face heated up for some reason but she nodded to let him know she understood.
“The seamstress should be able to make you a fine dress before then.” He did visit them earlier to check their output. They were diligent and thanked them for their immediate service.
“Thank you.” She realized he’s really providing for her needs. It doesn’t seem real, yet. This is more bizarre than the life she had as his consort. Queen, huh?
