Three months later
“Nick, can you please take that— No Nick!” Amber called out to Nick who was trying to strap baby Aaron into his car seat. They had just come from the courts and Aaron was now officially adopted by both Amber and Nick.
It had been nearly three months since both she and Nick had gotten married, and their lives had worked out for the best. Nick smiled at Amber and then they turned to their son who now strapped in his car seat. His toothless smile was one that Amber would never have traded for anything in the world.
Amber turned back and looked at her husband, Nick who now smiled at her. Amber was pleased with the decision that she had made in marrying Nick and she would not have had it any other way.
