One day later
Nick did not know whether to slap himself or pinch himself, because the person standing at his door was someone he would never have thought would have visited him.
“Hey Scarlet, what brings you here?” Nick asked her, knowing quite well that Scarlet was bad news and her visits were never pleasant.
“I’m just here to pay you a visit, are you going to allow me in?” she asked Nick. Nicked moved out of the way and allowed Scarlet into house and she walked in gracefully.
Nick shut the door behind himself and he made his way to Scarlet who settled for standing instead of grabbing a seat.
“Won’t you sit down?” Nick asked her but immediately he regretted asking scarlet that question, because she did not seem in the mood to answer any questions.
