CHAPTER 46As soon as the doors slid open, Mara burst from the elevator and jogged toward the circumference of the circular platform, heading for the bridgeway. Though her eyes were fixed straight ahead in a look of determination, her attention was on figuring out what to do next. She didn’t notice that the mesh metal causeway was gone, until she was teetering at the edge, staring into the dark chasm of the silo that held the repository structure.
