Chapter 92 Branwen stood in the entryway, her hand on the chilly glass of the door she’d just closed behind John. He didn’t look back at her at all, not even a glance. He just got in their rental car and drove off. A little too fast down the curving driveway, even for him. That all fit in with his strange, sullen mood when he woke up, as if they’d been fighting instead of making love before they’d fallen asleep. Nothing she’d tried to cheer him up had helped.
